PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controller having a long service life by correcting the difference of use frequency of nozzles and controlling print operation such that the ejection characteristics undergoes a change under similar use state at all times. SOLUTION: A decision is made whether the difference between the maximum value max and the minimum value min of the number of times of using a relevant nozzle is equal to or larger than a valueα(means value of the number of times of using four nozzles for printing the same print line through multipath of 4 times) (step S1). If it is equal to or larger than the valueα(Yes at S1), pattern ratio of a print mask pattern is altered (step S2), otherwise (No at S1) the pattern ratio is sustained at a standard setting (25%) (step S3). The pattern ratio is altered according to a calculation yi=25%-k.(xi-xn), where xi is the use frequency of a relevant nozzle, xn is mean use frequency of other nozzles printing the same line as the relevant nozzle, k is an operational coefficient, and yi is an altered pattern ratio.
