PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man hours for molding and assembling by reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 32 is inserted into a housing 10 through a terminal slot 13 and a wire 33 secured to the terminal fitting 32 is extended from the terminal slot 13. A filler 31 is injected into the injection chamber 14 of the housing 10 to prevent foreign matter from entering through the terminal slot 13 and to seal the extension passage of the wire 33. A sealing member 29 provided on the mating part 24 of the housing 10 which mates with a mating connector seals a space between the housing 10 and the mating connector. Since the sealing member 29 is molded integrally with the filler 31 in the injection chamber 14, this connector has a smaller number of part items than if the sealing member is molded as a separate component and assembled to the mating part, so that man hours for molding and assembling operations can be reduced.
