PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the coated optical fiber of an optical cable usable as a communication line other than being used in a connector box by connecting both ends of a loop-shaped coated optical fiber to optical fiber connectors that make a pair on the side opposite from the connecting side of a connector housing. SOLUTION: Two or more optical fiber connectors 2 are provided parallelly in the connector housing 1, and these connectors 2 that make a pair with the connecting side of the housing 1 on the opposite side are connected to both ends of the loop-shaped coated optical fiber 3. The loop-shaped coated optical fiber 3 is stored in a back shell 4 supported on the connector housing 1. Thus, by connecting the loop connector to the optical connector in the connector box provided for the optical cable, the coated optical fiber of the optical cable becomes from an open state to a closed circuit state at the optical connector, thereby making the optical cable usable as a communication line other than being used in the connector box.
