The invention relates to a unit for thermal conditioning of the polyethylene terephthalate preforms, applicable to the installations for producing the thermoplastic containers, starting from previously made preforms, said unit comprising a base plate (10) provided thereon with a transportation system which carries the preforms (5) successively through some furnaces, the transportation system comprising a Gall chain (21) supported on two gears, one of said gears being entrained by an adjustable speed motor, on the rivets (30) of the Gall chain (21) there being fastened some support assemblies (22) with the preforms (5) fastened thereon, said preforms undergoing thermal conditioning while carried through two tunnel furnaces at the same time being subjected to an axial rotation movement, due to the cooperation between a chain wheel (27) belonging to a support assembly (22) and some cog racks (33) located in the area of the tunnel furnace (18). |
