PURPOSE: To eliminate the floor level of an elevator from being dislocated by the weight change of car at a stop, without increasing weight of the elevator car or without reducing the inner space. CONSTITUTION: A floor level detecting means 19 is operated in the only case where an elevator car 11 is stopped at the landing FL, and detects the displacement of level between the car floor surface 11a inside of the elevator car 11 and the landing floor surface 24 due to the weight change of the elevator car 11. On the basis of the dislocation detected by the floor level detecting means 19, a level adjusting means 18 automatically adjusts the position of the elevator car 11 at a stop. |
