PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device by which a light emitting element array, an image formation element array and an image carrier are easily and highly accurately positioned without deteriorating an advantage by which a process cartridge is attached and detached to/from a device main body. SOLUTION: The process cartridge 80 is attached to a processing cartridge attaching part 60 at the inside of the image forming device, and a fixed part end part holding member 55 is fixed by using a hole part 62 on the side of the image forming device, and the positioning of a rod lens array fixing part 52 in a Z-direction (optical axis direction) and a Y-direction to the image forming device main body is executed, so that the positioning of a rod lens array 3 previously accurately fixed to the rod lens array fixing part 52 is attained.
