PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a footrest plate by extending the footrest plate consisting of at least a pair of plate member connected longitudinally bendable on the front lower edge of a seat, providing a hooking and releasing mechanism on the front edge of the footrest plate, and providing a housing space for the footrest plate under the seat. SOLUTION: This toy vehicle comprises rear wheel 3 and front wheels 6 rotatably supported in the rear and front parts of a body 1, respectively, and a footrest plate 10 attachably and detachably disposed in the front lower part of a seat 7, the footrest plate 10 being formed of plate members 11, 12 connected through a pivotal shaft 13 in such a manner as to be longitudinally bendable. The footrest plate 10 is fixed to the body 1 by a hooking and releasing mechanism for pivotally fixing the rear end of the rear plate member 11 of the footrest plate 10 by a pivotal shaft 9 arranged on the front lower edge of the seat 7 and engagingly locking a hook 18 at the front end of the front plate member 12 by a hook hole 20. In the state where the hooking and releasing mechanism is removed and the plate members 11, 12 are folded, the footrest plate 10 in the folded state is housed in a housing space 22 under the seat 7.
