PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as damage to seedlings, inferior planting, etc., in using the rolled state mat seedling by using a simple structure and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This seedling-planting device is provided by installing a seedling- holding means 16 holding a mat seedling A wound as a rolled state in a state of making the root side preceding to the tip end of fallen stem and leaf as freely capable of releasing by rotating, also a seedling-supplying means 33 for releasing the mat seedling A from the seedling-holding means 16 and supplying to a seedling-taking out port 13 with a planting claw 15, and a standing member 34 for standing bent down stems and leaves by giving a moving resistance to the bent down stems and leaves by bringing a contacting effect to the stems and leaves of the seedling part released from the seedling-holding means 16, having frontward bent down posture and supplied to the seedling- taking out port in the mat seedling A from the down stream side of the supplying direction in accordance with the releasing supply of the mat seedling A.
