PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting curtain which is capable of eliminating the trouble which occurs at the time of washing. SOLUTION: Weights 28 in the lower part of a curtain body 2 are provided with through-holes 32 and the front ends of insertion cords 33 are inserted into the through- holes 32 from above to below. The insertion cords 33 are formed by turning up cord- like members consisting of fine cloth in their middle parts and are formed to a loop form by sewing both ends thereof to the bottom edge of the curtain body 2. The bottom ends of hanging cords 13 which are inserted with respective guide rings 23 from a lifting device 11 and are hung down are provided with detaining members 41 which are freely engageably and disengageably detained to the upward projected insertion cords 33 inserted through the through-holes 32 of the weights 28. The hanging cords 13 inserted from the through-holes 46 of the detaining members 41 are wound and fixed around a winding shaft 45. Hooks 51 are formed at the detaining members 41 and the hooks 51 are projectingly provided with first turnups 52 for prohibiting the removal of the insertion cords 33. The external form dimensions of the hooks 51 are set larger than those of the through-holes 32 of the weights 28 to prohibit the upward movement along the insertion cords 33 of the weight 28.
