PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shavings of dried bonito with protrusion piece and a rotating cutting blade used in cutting which can attain difficult bending, chipping or generation of powder, and give a volume feeling after wrapping for better appearance. SOLUTION: This shavings of dried bonito with protrusion piece, is provided, on the surfaces of shavings of dried bonito obtained by cutting bonito with a rotating cutting blade, with a protrusion piece 2 protruding upwards formed into a strip shape in the cutting direction of the shavings 1. Two or more protrusion pieces 2 may be formed on the surfaces of the shavings 1. In the rotating cutting blade, a plurality of intermittent blades of two or more rows are arranged at a rotor, and the arranging positions of the forward and reward intermittent blades in the rotational direction of the rotor are shifted in the arranging direction. It is thus possible to cut a portion 7 which has been left uncut between the intermittent blades remaining at the cutting surfaces 6 of the shavings cut with the intermittent blade of forward row in the rotational direction with the intermittent blade of subsequent row along with the cutting surfaces 6. |
