An apparatus for preparing infusions of medicinal herbs and roots and tisanes in general, constituted by an outer cylindrical container (1) which has a closed bottom (1a) and a base (2) made of non-stick radiating material, to be placed on a direct heat source, by a further cylindrical container, which is constituted by two containment bodies (4, 5) arranged so that their bottoms are mutually opposite and mutually anchored and can be inserted in the outer container with a small interspace between them, and by a closure lid (9) which can be anchored in the upper mouth of the outer container. A leaf spring (11) made of spring steel is anchored under the lid and allows, when the lid is closed, a protrusion which protrudes from the lid to apply pressure to the upper edge of the single inner container so as to assuredly seal the open lower mouth of the inner containment body against the bottom of the outer one, so that after introducing the herbs and water in the lower part of the inner container and after heating the apparatus, the liquid is allowed to generate a pressure which can produce a yielding of the leaf spring, allowing the escape only of the liquid fraction and its rise, through the interspace, until it pours into the upper part of the inner container. |
