PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bar code reader which is made small-sized and lightweight by incorporating a chamferred reflecting mirror. SOLUTION: This bar code reader is equipped with the chanferred reflecting mirror 1c, which reflects the laser light emitted from a laser light source 2c toward a bar code (marking code); and the laser light emitted from the laser light source 2c passes through an optical path and is irradiated on an object on which the bar code (marking code) (not illustrated) is stuck and, on the basis of its reflected light, and the bar code (marking code) is read out. |
