PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayer ceramic capacitor, which is suitable for miniaturization and large capacitance and has little dispersion in electrical characteristic by preventing generation of step-difference, when a plurality of green sheets in which inner electrodes are formed are laminated. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, a first unbaked ceramic green sheet 3 is formed on a film 1 as a retainer, in which at least photosensitive macromolecular material as a binder and dielectric powder are mixed, the green sheet 3 is exposed to light by using a photomask 6 of an inner electrode forming a pattern, the space of an inner electrode forming pattern 7 is formed on the green sheet 3 by development, the space is filled with a conductive paste 10, a second unbaked ceramic green sheet 43 is interposed between neighboring layers of the conductive paste, and the green sheets are laminated and baked.
