PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source preventing the scattering of fragments even when a luminescence section is broken, cooled efficiently, and stabilized with high illuminance. SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with a concave reflecting mirror 2 having a luminescence section 1a, a seal section 1b, a lamp, an opened aperture section, a light reflection section 2a reflecting the light of the lamp and radiating the parallel light, cutout sections 2c, 2d provided on the aperture section of the light reflection section 2a and communicating the inside and outside of the light reflection section 2a, and a tubular neck section inserted into the seal section 1b; a sleeve member 7 integrally forming a tubular reflection support section 7a supporting the neck section and a lamp base support section supporting a lamp base 9 fitted with the seal section 1b inserted into the neck section and having a plurality of notches communicating the inside and outside along the peripheral direction; a transparent shield plate 3 transmitting the parallel light; the support base of the concave reflecting mirror 2; and at least one cooling means provided on one side of the cutout sections 2c, 2d and the cutouts of the sleeve member 7 to cool the lamp. |
