PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture which is used for underwater concrete and can give the concrete having a good quality without flowing out from spaces such as the spaces, cracks or the like of molds and without separating materials, even when the concrete is applied to a water-existing place such as underwater or underground spaces, and to provide a method for producing concrete using the cement admixture. SOLUTION: This cement admixture for underwater contains a polyalkylarylsulfonate and polyethylene oxide. The method for producing concrete comprises adding either one of the two components of the cement admixture to a cement, forcefully feeding the mixture, forcefully feeding the other through another route, and joining and mixing the components at the tip of the route. An accelerating agent is preferably further added to the component forcefully fed through the another route.
