PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and cheap method for indicating a specific temperature irreversibly with various hue and a recording medium used for it. SOLUTION: For a method for indicating a specific temperature irreversibly with the color of a recording medium, the recording medium is constituted by layering a first layer and a second layer consisting of a solid medium and binder softening or melting at the specific temperature on the substrate. In one of the layers, the coloring component is included and in the other layer, a coloring agent is included. The component is moved from one layer to the other layer or at the temperature that the solid medium is softened or melted by mixing of two components, the recording medium is colored.
