PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which the difference between the expectation color of a user and the color of an actually finished picture can be recognized without changing a posture during a camera operation when an optical finder is used. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 has an optical lens 401 in a finder 400, an image pickup sensor 303 which photoelectrically converts an object light image and takes the resultant signal in, a display monitor 304 which picture- displays a picture signal which is taken in on a screen and a small liquid crystal monitor 406 which displays the picture signal that is taken in on a small screen different from the above screen. At the time of pre-viewing, an object light image taken by the optical lens 401 or the display picture by the small liquid crystal monitor 406 is guided to a finder window 404 through a prism 403.
