PURPOSE:To reduce restriction of a recording medium by decreasing an influence to be given to the recording medium by a method wherein emission and absorption of gas are repeated by giving positive and negative energy to a solid gas emission medium, and this gas emission pressure is used as recording medium discharging pressure. CONSTITUTION:Electric energy is given to a thermal element 104 from a power source 106, which is converted to thermal energy. Heat is transmitted to a hydrogen occluded metal being a gas emission medium 101 to generate hydrogen gas as emission gas 103, and discharging pressure is given to a recording medium 102 by pressure due to this emission gas 103. The hydrogen occluded metal can emit hydrogen gas with a small amount of energy by selecting suitably a kind of the alloy. Besides, when reversed polarity energy is given to the thermal element 104 by using a Pertier element, thermal energy can be forcibly recovered, and the emitted gas can be recovered in the hydrogen storage metal. |
