<p>According to the invention, low-temperature liquefied gas (1) is fed into a first heat exchanger (3) in which the low-temperature liquefied gas (1) conveys at least a portion of its cold content to a cold transfer medium whereupon the temperature of said liquefied gas is increased. The warmed gas (1) is removed from the first heat exchanger (3) and fed into a second heat exchanger (5) in which the warmed gas (1) is additionally subjected to an increase in temperature and is subsequently fed to a location where it is used for another application. The cooled cold transfer medium is removed from the first heat exchanger (3) and fed to a cold accumulator (9), and conveys at least a portion of its cold content to the cold accumulator (9), whereupon the temperature of the cold transfer medium is increased. In addition, the cold content of the cold accumulator (9), if required, is at least partially conveyed to a heat transfer medium in order to cool a process.</p> |
