METHOD FOR INTERFACING BETWEEN VOCODER AND SELECTOR WITHIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: A method for interfacing between a vocoder and selector within a communication system controller is provided to provide high speed data service above 64 Kbps through one vocoder by making high speed parallel communication between the vocoder and selector possible. CONSTITUTION: A method for interfacing between a vocoder and selector within a communication system controller includes following steps. The selector generates two reception-Slewble signals and two transmission-Slewble signals during 20ms for one vocoder. When the first reception-Slewble signal and transmission-Slewble signal is generated, 80 bites of data are first received and transmitted between the vocoder and selector. When the second reception-Slewble signal and transmission-Slewble signal is generated, the rest 80 bites of data are received and transmitted between the vocoder and selector. Therefore 160 bites of data are received and transmitted between the vocoder and selector for 20ms.
