Construction heavy equipment having a width-variable arm member is provided to improve working efficiency by replaceably mounting working devices to the arm by a spacer without using an additional coupling device, such as a quick coupler, for the replacement of different working devices with different specifications. Construction heavy equipment having a width-variable arm member comprises a lower running body, an upper revolving body, a bonnet, a working device, a counterweight, and a width-adjusting device. The upper revolving body is mounted on the lower running body, revolving to the left and the right sides by a driving unit. The bonnet is mounted in a cabin or an engine room that is mounted on the upper revolving body. The working device is mounted on the upper revolving body at the outside of the cabin, comprising a boom and an arm member(14) driven by associated actuators. The counterweight is mounted on a back side of the upper revolving body, having a weight therein to maintain balance of the equipment while working. The width-adjusting device comprises a spacer(21) provided more than one on a gap between a distal end of the arm member and a working device(15) to be replaced, so as to adjust the gap, a support cover(22) mounted on an outer surface of the spacer, and a fastener removably fixing the spacer and the support cover on the arm member. |
