PURPOSE: A method for controlling a sporty travelling mode of an automatic shifting vehicle is provided to rapidly change a gear by differing shifting time according to speed. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a sporty travelling mode in an automatic shifting vehicle comprises a first stage controlling a shifting stage selected by a shift lever in a manual mode of the shift lever; a second stage detecting shift lever controlling speed of a driver after deciding shift as a specific shifting stage; a third stage deciding shifting timing according to shift lever controlling speed result; and a fourth stage shifting the specific shifting stage according to the shifting timing. The driver detects a state controlling the shift lever. Thereby, the method for controlling the sporty travelling mode in the automatic shifting vehicle rapidly changes a gear by differing shifting time according to the shift lever controlling speed.
