PURPOSE: A structure of a cross member is provided to improve working efficiency by installing a gearbox to the outside, and to improve strength and stiffness of a cross member and force of constraint supporting a stabilizer bar. CONSTITUTION: In a cross member(20) including a stabilizer bar(14) and a gearbox(20), the outside is supported by a gearbox mounting bracket(21) connected to the outside of the cross member. The outside of stabilizer bar is supported a stabilizer bar mounting bracket(22) connected to the lower portion of the cross member and a covering member(25) connected to the outside of the stabilizer mounting bracket. To assemble and disassemble the gearbox, the covering member is assembled or disassembled with a bolt(24) having the gearbox. The stabilizer bar mounting bracket is connected to both inner ends of the cross member and forms a closed curved portion(26). Therefore strength and stiffness of the cross member are raised and force of constraint supporting the stabilizer bar is raised.
