<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent memory from being made full of reserved information and becoming unable to receive the new information for reservation, by facilitating to erase the unnecessary information in the memory in a video recorder with a reservation recording function, and simplify re-inputting reservation by enabling the recorder to keep the reserved information as much as possible after the lapse of a prescribed period. SOLUTION: When it is judged that a reserved information amount stored in the memory has reached the prescribed amount (YES at #21), the reserved information after the lapse of a prescribed period from a planned point in time for carrying out is erased sequentially from the oldest first (#25). Since the reserved information after the lapse of the prescribed period from the time scheduled to execute resaved video recording has a possibility of being the unnecessary reservation information unexecuted for some reasons, the unnecessary reserved information stored in the memory can easily be erased by automatically erasing them sequentially from the oldest first.</p> |
