INK DRYING DEVICE AND INK JET RECORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time from outputting of a print command to starting of actual printing while suppressing a running cost. SOLUTION: A temperature of a drying region is controlled by a controller to three types of a 'stand-by 1' of the state for holding the drying region at a printing temperature for a predetermined time to stand by capable of completely drying an ink in the drying region even by printing by an ink jet head at a highest speed during a period from finishing of printing to next print command, a 'stand-by 2' of the state for holding in the drying region at a temperature lower than the printing temperature and not lower than an environmental temperature to stand by, and a 'stand-by 3 (sleep mode)' for holding in the drying region at the environmental temperature.
