PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly fractionate an article to be sorted at two long and short levels by simple constitution. SOLUTION: A length sorting apparatus is equipped with a vibration conveyor 2 for feeding an article to be sorted wherein long articles with predetermined length or more and short and granular articles with below predetermined length are mixed and the long article receiver 3 provided to the discharge part of the vibration conveyor 2 so as to provide a gap allowing the short and granular articles to fall. The conveyer surface 7a of the vibration conveyor 2 is formd into a V-shape so as to easily line up the long articles.
