METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CALL STANDBY STATE OF PORTABLE WIRELESS PHONE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a call standby state of a portable wireless phone is provided to identify and display a caller on standby and achieve call connection with the caller on standby. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(10) controls the overall operation of a portable wireless phone and carries out the control of call standby operations. A memory(40) storing a control program for a call standby function is comprised of a flash memory, a RAM and an EEPROM. A key input unit(70) provided with a plurality of numeric keys and function keys outputs intrinsic key data according to the input of each key. In addition, the key input unit(70) comprises a confirmation key to cover the confirmation request of a caller ID in a call standby state. A display unit(30) displays display data for key data generated from the key input unit(70). A display unit(30) displays the caller ID in the call standby state. A wireless unit(20) is composed of a duplexer, a receiving part and a transmitting part. The duplexer separates radio signals transmitted and received through an antenna(ANT). The receiving part demodulates radio signals received through the antenna(ANT) into baseband signals and outputs the signals through signal processing. The transmitting part modulates the signal processed and outputted signals into the radio signals. A beep generation unit(50) carries out the generation of beep sound if the call standby state by call destination is made.
