PURPOSE: A method for optimizing passenger/cargo transportation is provided to directly connect a taxi with a passenger who calls the taxi, so as to make the passenger get the taxi in a shortest time, and make the taxi find a passenger quickly. CONSTITUTION: A passenger/cargo transportation optimizing system receives a location and a phone number of a provider from at least one of a mobile communication service system and a terminal of the provider. The passenger/cargo transportation optimizing system stores the location and the phone number. The passenger/cargo transportation optimizing system receives a location of a customer and a provider retrieval request from at least one of the mobile communication service system and a terminal of the customer. The passenger/cargo transportation optimizing system retrieves the provider corresponding to the location of the received customer. The passenger/cargo transportation optimizing system performs a call between the provider and the customer.
