PURPOSE: A cutting line marking device of a surface protecting tape is provided to easily cut the tape as occasion demands by marking cutting lines at regular intervals and winding the tape again, thereby improving the working efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A cutting line marking device includes a supply winding roll(1) having a wound surface protect tape(T); a guide part(2) guiding the tape discharged from the supply winding roll to a marking part(3) and having a guide roll(21) and a speed sensor(22) mounted on one side for sensing the feeding speed of the tape; the marking part positioned in front of the guide roll, formed with a main drive roller(31) and an auxiliary roller(32), a horizontal cutter(311) mounted on the outside of the main drive roller, and a pulley mounted on a rotary shaft of the main drive roller and connected through a control part(5) and a belt; a recovery winding roll(4) winding the tape passed the marking part; and the control part controlling the RPM of the marking part, and having a decelerator(51) connected with the main drive roller, a driving motor(52) connected with the decelerator, and an inverter(53) connected with the speed sensor and the decelerator.
