CRT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A CRT and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to prevent pollution between a yoke portion of a funnel or an external conductive layer and a deflection yoke and in a cabinet by coating materials for functioning as electrification-proof and self-cleaning. CONSTITUTION: Materials functioning as electrification-proof and self-cleaning are coated on the surface of a funnel(2) to prevent pollution between a yoke portion of a funnel(2) or an external conductive layer and a deflection yoke(8) and in a cabinet(4). The anti-electrification material is provided through radical reaction in a UV curing paint to have electrification-proof features or by using a material performing electrification-proof performance through internal reaction about surface charge. The self-cleaning material can employ titanium dioxide or a photocatalytic material containing titanium dioxide.
