The invention relates to a sealing system for translation motion, used in hydraulic cylinders and pumps with translation motion. According to the invention, the sealing system for translation motion is located between the cylinder body (3) and the driving rod (4) of a hydraulic cylinder, and comprises a teflon gasket (1) with sealing sleeves oriented towards a chamber with fluid under pressure (p) as well as a toroidal rubber gasket (2), which, under the action of the fluid pressure, is positioned outside or between the sealing sleeves of the teflon gasket (1), determining the change of the sealing material torque between the cylinder body (3) and the driving rod (4) of the hydraulic cylinder.
