AMPLIFICATION LOAD ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM UTILIZING MEMORY

PURPOSE: An amplification load adjustment system utilizing memory is provided to accurately control impedance provided to a power amplifier output with a variable impedance network over a wide range. CONSTITUTION: The amplification load adjustment system(200) is provided with an amplifier(32) and a variable impedance network(36) coupled with the output of this amplifier(32). The variable impedance network(36) provides a plurality of kinds of impedance sets to the output of the power amplifier(32) in response to a load control signal. A control circuit generates a transmission power command and a channel frequency command. A memory(40) stores a plurality of control variables as a function of the output power and the frequency. The variable impedance network(36), the control circuit and a processor(38) connected to the control circuit extract a plurality of control variables in response to the transmission power command and the channel frequency command and generate a load control signal by using them.
