摘要 PURPOSE: A socket for mounting a memory module board on a printed circuit board is provided so that a mounting area of the memory module board can be reduced, signal distortion can be restricted and data can be rapidly fetched, by processing signals from the memory module inside, without passing through the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A socket(110) for mounting a memory module board on a printed circuit board(112) consists of a socket pin fixing unit(100), an upper socket pin(102), a lower socket pin(104) and a signal line wiring(106). At least two memory module boards can be inserted into and mounted on the socket pin fixing unit(100). In addition, the upper socket pin(102) and the lower socket pin(104) serve to mount the memory module in the socket pin fixing unit(100). The signal line wiring(106) is connected to a printed circuit pattern of the printed circuit board(112) which is a main board. Accordingly, a mounting area of the memory module board and a size of the printed circuit board are reduced to achieve miniaturization and integration of the electric device. Moreover, it is possible to reduce or prevent signal distortion which may be generated in an interface between the printed circuit board and the memory module board. In addition, a data fetching speed is improved.
