PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with a cycle setting means for setting a minimum cycle of a heater driving signal, and arranged to vary a control width of the heater driving signal by the setting of the cycle setting means. SOLUTION: This image forming device and system comprise a heating means 207 for generating heat for fixing a development material to be deposited on a recording medium on the recording medium, a temperature detection means 208 for detecting a temperature of the heating means 207, a trigger generation means 205 for generating a trigger in a prescribed cycle, a trigger cycle setting means 204 for setting the trigger cycle generated by the trigger generation means 205, a control means 204 for controlling the image forming device according to a print signal from a communication means, and a heat driving means 206 for controlling the heating means 207. And, the heat driving means 206 outputs a pulse number modulated driving signal to the heating means 207 based on the trigger generated by the trigger generation means 205, and controls the temperature of the heating means 207 detected by the temperature detection means 208 so that it is kept at the predetermined temperature.
