PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a backward displacement of a tab of a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 20 is formed by extending a connection part from a terminal body 21 while bending it, and extending a tab 26 from the extension end of the connection part 25 to a side opposite to the terminal body 21 while bending it. The terminal body 21 is formed with a stopper piece 27 (stopper means) projected to the connection part 25, and a surface of the connection part 25 corresponding to the stopper piece 27 is formed into an abutment surface 25a. Displacement of the connection part 25 continued to the base end of the tab 26 in a direction for reducing the bending angle against the terminal body 21, namely, in a direction for moving the tab 26 backward is regulated by interference with the stopper piece 27. With this structure, displacement of the tab 26 in the backward direction is prevented.
