摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive plural display elements whose areas of anode electrodes are different so as not to generate unevenness of luminance by making display luminance between display elements uniform with a single constant current source. SOLUTION: The area of the anode electrode 11a of a segment 11 is roughly 1.2 times the area of the anode electrode 12a of a segment 12 and the anode electrodes 11a, 12a are respectively connected in common to a constant current source 30 via a switch 20. Cathode electrodes 11b, 12b of the segments 11, 12 are exclusively connected to switches 21, 22. Apparent display luminance of the segments 11, 12 are made uniform by compensating the difference of the current density of the segments while making a period when the switch 20 is brought into conduction at the time the switch 21 is brought into conduction to be 0.2 times a period when the switch 20 is brought into conduction at the time the switch 22 is brought into conduction and, thus, unevenness of luminance of a display device 100 is avoided.
