PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat an auxiliary drying chamber with the waste heat from a clothes drying chamber and effectively utilize the waste heat from the clothes drying chamber to dry shoes or a floor cloth, by providing the clothes drying chamber and the auxiliary drying chamber adjacent to each other and introducing the exhaust air from the clothes drying chamber into a heat exchange chamber adjacent to the auxiliary drying chamber. SOLUTION: A clothes drying chamber 1 is arranged on the upper stage of a rack 6, an auxiliary drying chamber 2 is arranged on the lower stage adjacently thereto, and a gas burner as a clothes drying heat source 3 is provided under the floor of the clothes drying chamber 1. The heat of the burner 3 is supplied to the clothes drying chamber 1 as hot air by a fan provided on the rear side of the clothes drying chamber 1 to dry clothes. On the other hand, a heat exchange chamber partitioned by a metal plate is provided on the rear side of the auxiliary drying chamber 2, and the exhaust air from the clothes drying chamber 1 is introduced thereto through a duct, and the heat of the exhaust air is received in this heat exchange chamber to heat the auxiliary drying chamber 2 partitioned on the front side of the heat exchange chamber through the metal plate, and a matter to be dried such as shoes housed in the auxiliary drying chamber 2 is dried.
