The invention provides a resistor material comprising a conductive material and an additive; said conductive material comprising a material represented by the general formula of NbxLa1-xB6-4x (x=0.1 to 0.9) and/or a material comprising 100 to about 90 mol % of NbB2 and 0 to about 10 mol % of LaB6; and said additive comprising titanium oxide, cobalt oxide and zinc or silicon oxide or comprising AlN and TiO2.
