PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening device applicable irrespective of the sort of a driven pulley of such a structure that the driven pulley is fitted to a rotatable driven shaft in such a way as not capable of relative rotation and a bolt or a nut is fastened to the end of the driven shaft while the driven pulley is held not capable of rotating. SOLUTION: A jig block 4 of a fastening device 1 is furnished with a socket wrench 5 to fasten a bolt, etc., and a plurality of engaging pins 6 inserted in a recess formed in a driven pulley for hindering its rotation, wherein the pins 6 are energized ahead by a compression spring provided in the jig block 4 and arranged as retracting into the block 4 when a pressing force is applied from ahead. The pins 6 are positioned mating with the recesses of different sorts of driven pulleys.
