<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block which can be easily produced, carried and installed, which has enough physical and chemical resistance to be used in sea, lake or river and which is suitable for the living field of marine organisms and aquatic organisms. SOLUTION: The block for the living of organisms is a prim-like block and is a hardened body essentially consisting of sulfur and mineral material powder. The sulfur content of the hardened body is 20 to 50 wt.%. The mineral materiel powder is coal ash, and the surface of the block has fine recesses and projections. The block has a through hole from one surface of the prism body to the opposite surface and the hole ash a desired cross sectional form with the cross-sectional area as about 5 to 50% of the area of the surface.</p> |
