PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting tool for a screen which has a simple construction and can be operated precisely and easily. SOLUTION: A U-shaped frame 1 has a width such that an upper frame of a screen can be fitted in the frame 1, and a threaded hole is formed and a setscrew is screwed into the hole to fix the upper frame of the screen to the U-shaped frame. A lifting tool body 1 for lifting a screen includes a block 4 disposed at the lower part of the U-shaped frame. Rings 5 are arranged at regular intervals from the upper frame to a lower frame at the location of a horizontal bar so that the load of the screen is uniformly applied. A connector for connecting the rings and the horizontal bar is disposed. A string 7 is stored in a winding tool 8 including a coiled plate spring. A stopper is disposed for the tool 8 to control the movement of the string. The string 7 pulled out of the tool 8 is mounted to the block 4 of the lifting tool body 1, and further the string 7 is passed through the rings 5 so as to be fixed to the lower frame.
