PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2-based crystallized glass capable of attaining excellent clarity and glass characteristics even if the amount of As2O3 is reduced by making the glass include a specific amount of Sb2O3 having weak toxicity and slight possibility of contaminating an environment as an As2O3 substitute for clarity and promoting crystallization and have a specificβ-OH amount. SOLUTION: A Li20-Al2O3-SiO2-based crystallized glass having a low coefficient of thermal expansion, high mechanical strength and excellent clarity is obtained by making the glass have a composition containing 0.05-4 wt.% of Sb2O3 and 0.3-4/mmβ-OH amount. The crystallized glass is obtained by heat- treating a Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2-based crystalline glass containing 0.05-4 wt.% of Sb2O3 and having 0.15-2 mmβ-OH amount. The crystallized glass preferably has a composition of 50-80 wt.% of SiO2, 12-30 wt.% of Al2O3, 1-6 wt.% of Li2O, 0-5 wt.% of MgO, 0-5 wt.% of ZnO, 0-8 wt.% of BaO, 0-5 wt.% of Na2O, 0-5 wt.% of K2O, 0-8 wt.% of TiO2, 0-7 wt.% of ZrO2, 0-7 wt.% of P2O5 and 0.05-4 wt.% of Sb2O3.
