PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit for realizing high performance, miniaturization, and cost reduction of a pre/post filter using a digital low-pass filter corresponding to plural kinds of input videos. SOLUTION: This video signal processing circuit is provided with a first digital low-pass filter 31 for varying cut-off frequencies and attenuating characteristics by changing a filter coefficient, a picture quality correcting circuit 32 for operating picture quality correction and function realization for the output of the first digital low pass filter, a second digital low-pass filter 33 for varying cut-off frequencies and attenuating characteristics by changing a filter coefficient for the output of the picture quality correcting circuit, and an input video judging circuit 7 for judging the format of an input analog signal from horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals. The result of the input video judging circuit 7 is inputted to a program managing circuit 34 so that the frequency characteristics of the digital low-pass filters 31 and 33 can be changed.
