PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demonstration system to visually show a relation between operation effected by a multifunction device and a function. SOLUTION: A multifunction device comprises a machine device part 25 to perform machine operation, visible from an external part, according to a selected function; an operation part 10 to select machine operation of the machine device part 25; and an information providing part 15 to display the machine operation state of the machine device part. The machine device part 25 effects machine operation corresponding to an input through an input from an operation part 10 and the information providing part 15 is provided with a demonstration mode to display a function content in synchronism with machine operation. While the machine device part 25 carries out machine operation corresponding to one function, a plurality of display contents are displayed, in order, on the information providing part 15. In addition to visual function explanation through machine operation, even functions not displayed by machine operation of the machine device part 25 are visually shown and explanation of a function to a user is facilitated. |
