PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar antenna system with a simple configuration that suppresses increase/decrease in an internal pressure by making the interior in communicating to the outside air and also prevents intrusion of rainwater and to provide an antenna cover. SOLUTION: A rear cover placing shelf 15 and vent holes 18, 19 that are penetrated through a surrounding wall 3a are provided in the inside of the surrounding wall 3a that is stood upright at an outer circumferential edge of a box-formed front cover 3 whose rear side is open. Either of the vent holes 18, 19 is placed at a lowermost position and formed with a slope so as to discharge intruded water in a state where the font cover 3 is directed longitudinally or laterally, and the other of the vent holes 18, 19 is placed at the side face of the front cover 3 and formed with a slope and its outer opening is directed downward so as to prevent intrusion of rainwater.
