<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform receiving of radio wave surely to a driver by providing a radar detector delivering a radar detection signal upon receiving an external radio wave, and an independent portable oscillator oscillating upon receiving a radar detection signal from the radar detector. SOLUTION: The radar detection system comprises a radar detector 2, and a portable oscillator 3. Control system for the radar detector 2 comprises a CPU and a receiving antenna. When a radio wave is received by the receiving antenna and a radar is detected, the CPU delivers an alarm sound from a loudspeaker, lights LEDs(light emitting diodes) 25, and transmits a radar detection signal to the portable oscillator 3. When an oscillation sensor does not detect oscillation any more, the CPU begins to count the time through a timer and power saving waiting state is entered upon elapsing a predetermined time. Normal state is reset when oscillation is detected and power supply is resumed.</p> |
