PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow one radio communication terminal to utilize mobile communication services of different kinds executed in various areas. SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal is provided with a variable communication means 11, a library that stores software programs available for the control of the means 11 as to each of a plurality of kinds of mobile communication services, a 1st service identification means that identifies a carrier frequency and a modulation demodulation system of a received wave, a level detection means 22 that detects a level of the received wave, a 2nd service identification means that tries to extract a desired wave through despread processing from the received wave to identify a kind of a service of a base station when the level of the received wave is lower than a threshold, and a communication control means 16 that designates the kind of the service of the base station on the basis of the identification results by the 1st and 2nd service identification means, selects a software program among a plurality of the software programs stored in the library and conducts communication control by using the selected software program depending on the kind.
