PURPOSE: A method for transmitting group messages in a mobile terminal is provided to simultaneously transmit a text message to many receiving terminals and to make an originating terminal confirm whether the text message is successfully transmitted, so as to transmit the same text message to the receiving terminals to make many users share a necessary message in an urgent situation. CONSTITUTION: A group channel is capable of transceiving group messages between an originating terminal and receiving terminals or receiving terminals enlisted in an optional group. The group channel is allocated. The originating terminal transmits a group message to a communication system by using the allocated group channel. The communication system transmits the group message to each receiving terminal by using the group channel. The communication system checks whether acknowledge messages relating to the group message are transmitted from the receiving terminals. If not, the communication system retransmits the group message. If the receiving terminals are not registered in the communication system, the receiving terminals are firstly registered, then the group message is transmitted. |
