CIRCUIT FOR ELIMINATING SYNC-NOISE IN VCD PLAYER

PURPOSE: A circuit for eliminating sync-noise in a VCD(video compact disk) player is provided to eliminate sync-noise generated at initial state of reproducing an audio CD in the VCD player. CONSTITUTION: To reproduce an audio CD(11) in a VCD player, audio data in the CD is inputted to an MPEG(moving picture experts group) IC(10) for an MPEG CPU(21) to output mute signal of low state. The MPEG CPU outputs audio signal through an audio output unit(40). Synchronize pulse generated while reproducing the audio signal and applied to a ground terminal of a video output unit(50) is grounded. By the mute signal, sync-noise is not generated in the audio output unit. A high signal is output through emitter of the first transistor(Q1) of a mute unit(22) for turning on the second transistor(Q2).
