METHOD FOR PRODUCING DOME-SHAPED BEARING

PURPOSE: A method for producing a dome-shaped bearing is provided to improve the sphericity of a spherical surface in an injection-molded product from a metal mold by previously performing a lapping process. CONSTITUTION: A dome-shaped recessed groove is formed by a discharge process. A recessed spherical surface of a metal mold(10) is lapped. A groove is embossed by etching the spherical surface inside the metal mold. Intrusion material is filled in the recessed groove of the metal mold and compressed before solidified. The intrusion material is separated from the metal mold. Then, the spherical surface of the intrusion is after-processed by polishing.
